In October 2018 we held a strip piecing sewing day - an easy day of starting/making a quilt top, using our own fabric or some from the community stash. There are so many quilt designs based on using only 2 1/2" strips, we just tried a few between us, with the 'jelly roll race' being the most popular. Over the following months we have seen some great finishes, and some are still on the way. It is possibly the most finished quilts we have ever seen from a 'workshop'. It was also a very friendly social whole day of sewing together, that we really enjoyed.
