Last show and tell for September

What a lovely collection of quilts to finish up September - click on an image for a larger view:

Julie outlined all the clothing folds in this panel
with machine stitching, and heavily embroidered
the gingko leaves with gold metallic thread. A stamp
on the back says the woman depicted is 'Barbara'.
Linda P's class sample for her upcoming beginners'
applique class at Hobby Sew at Top Ryde. She has used
the technique described here for cutting backing economically
several times, including in this quilt, and she is

completely sold on it.
Nerida's niece will love this beautiful quilt for her 18th -
lots of gorgeous prints. Centre blocks designed by Katy Jones
@imagingermonkey editor of Quilt Now magazine (UK) .
And it's big. Hand quilting coming up.
Improv blocks, referencing an urban look have been on Pat's mind.
She designed the blocks herself, making adjustments as she went
along, with input from images online and in print and cloth. Isn't
it spectacular? So much to see - you could look at it for hours.
Quilting decisions must be made.
To mark turning 80, Robin W decided to learn a new, challenging
hand piecing technique - the Y seam. She is now an expert - as she is
with putting colours together, from her extensive stash of
Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
Sue B has been busy again, this time working colour and
design magic with jelly rolls! It's big too.
