The previous guideline about not posting works-in-progress on social media has been removed.
Guest Tutor block challenge
Quilt NSW is excited to celebrate Giuseppe Ribaudo (Giucy Giuce) as our Guest Tutor at the Sydney Quilt Show! To mark the occasion, FreeSpirit Fabrics is proudly sponsoring a special block challenge just for Aussie quilters.
Your blocks will be displayed at the show and judged by Giucy himself and a Giucy Giuce prize package to be won, generously provided by FreeSpirit Fabrics.
This challenge is open to quilters all across Australia, and you don’t need to be a QuiltNSW member to join in.
Entries must be received by 31 July 2026.
JUNIOR & YOUTH QUILT BLOCK CHALLENGE QuiltNSW is delighted to once again host the Junior and Youth Quilt Block Challenge. The challenge is open to Juniors up to Year 6 and Youth in Years 7–12, with prizes ranging in value from $50 to $300. Even better, participants will receive free show entry, along with ribbons and rosettes to celebrate their achievements. Winners will be announced at the Sydney Quilt Show on Thursday 17 September 2026.
