The list of 27 quiltmakers whose work has been selected for the Evolution, Change, Challenge exhibition curated by the Quilters Guild of NSW has been released, along with details of associated events during the exhibition at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Art Centre at Gymea (in the Sutherland Shire) 28th August - 8th September
Hazelhurst Gallery has commissioned curator Louise Mitchell to stage Labours of Love – Australian Quilts from 1850 – 2015, 8th August - 5th October. As well as seeing the exhibition, you might be interested in following the Curator's Blog.We are off to Gymea on our annual bus trip in a couple of weeks to take in this wonderful opportunity at an excellent venue - we will report back.
