Show and tell

Pat's dramatic version of ‘Pickled Fish’ (designed by
Chris Jurd) is a rich mix of prints and colours ...
... and gorgeous prints like these flamingoes.

While we were in Oatley for the PINK exhibition, we wandered
down the main street in search of a coffee - and found it right
next door to Oatley Cottage, where some of their shop samples
were on sale at fabulous prices (to make room for new ones).
Pat sensibly picked up this beautifully made quilt top
... and we should have bought some more!
Daphne is using up some of her sash, including her prodigious
collection of Kaffe Fasset fabric - we look forward to seeing
where it finishes up.
Daphne loves bright colours - her adaptation of Jen Kingwell's
'Glitter' is another example.
We’ve seen lots of finishing of long term projects recently,
such as this soft, pretty top in 1930s reproduction fabrics
made by Lyn. The melons and small squares are machine
appliquéd to the background squares.
