Tokyo International Quilt Festival 2020

Three of our members are currently in Japan, with itineraries that include multi-day visits to the big quilt show, but they are much too excited to have organised all their photos, processed what they have seen so far, or to have written blog posts about them yet. Here are a just a few photos ...

In the meantime, we recommend you visit Patricia Belyea's excellent Okan Arts blog post with many, many photos of the quilts at the current Tokyo International Quilt Festival, organised under the headings
  • competition exhibit
  • invitational exhibit
  • the big winners
  • retrospective - 'The World of Keiko Goke'
  • the music of quilts
  • special exhibits
We'll bring you more when our travellers return and recover.
