Multi-talents!

Quilting objects for purposes other than warmth, embroidery, crochet and knitting are all practised alongside our making of quilts for warmth … some of us even sew garments!

Robin bought this vibrant hand dyed merino wool in rural,
NSW recently, to knit up into a hat ora scarf, maybe both …

… like this one she made last year. Lynette bought the buttons
in Berry when she visited for their recent quilt show.

Lyn found an almost finished crocheted shawl made by
an aunt many years ago, and has added the stitches to
complete the tartan pattern.

Janice used 1/2 hexagons backed with felt to make
clever thread keepers for her embroidery threads.

Robyn made some beautifully warm beanies last year
that were snapped up from our craft stall, so we were
delighted when she brought in some more for the
coming winter. They didn’t all make into the craft stall stock.

Janice’s new baby granddaughter has the beginnings
of a fine wardrobe of knitwear.

Louise made a densely embroidered heart,
framed on black linen for a friend.

Daphne has a collection of patterns for small pouches and
purses. These little ones open out into handy box shape.
