Marilyn’s exquisite pieced and appliqued king sized ‘Quilters Entwined’ was designed by Sandy Cousins from Shiralee Stitches, together with Di Ford Hall’s daughter Nicci, and made from Di’s Oak Alley collection of fabrics. The quilt is big enough to reach the floor on a queen sized bed, and Marilyn quilted it herself on her domestic machine, after having it machine basted by a long-arm quilter! |
The first border print is fussy cut to give the impression of a curved edge. |
Lots of appliqué and piecing. |
The pattern can be bought alone, or as part of a kit from Shiralee Stitches in northern NSW. |
grandchild, due to arrive at the end of the year.
