‘Boho Heart’

Laura makes a very generous contribution to our community quilts program by quilting some of our quilts on her long arm machine. It’s always good to see a quilt she has made for herself, family or friends. Her version of Jen Kingwell’s Boho Heart design is for a friend’s daughter, and showcases her piecing, appliqué and of course, custom machine quilting skills. It’s a large quilt with a complex layout and mix of many blocks. Her friend’s daughter will be delighted with it.

Of course the quilt sides are straight, but Laura  needed two
additional pairs of hands to help tame it on the breezy day
we had the opportunity to photograph it.
