If you are looking for Australasian fauna print fabric (there's a kiwi in there!), Down Under by US designers Mint Blossom for US fabric manufacturer Northcott might fit the bill. It was released in July, and a Google search suggests that it might be a bit early to see it in Australian shops just yet. A collection of geometric prints coordinates with the contemporary graphic animal print.
Wombat Wonderland is a new organic cotton range in 7 designs from Australian designer Saffron Craig. It can be ordered from her online shop.
The Warped and the Weft, the blog written by the Spotlight fabric department, has news of a range of fabric designed by Prints Charming that will be available in Spotlight stores from this week:
- Interview with the designers
- Preview of range - the fabrics are described as dress materials, cotton drill and poplin, rather than as quilting cotton, but quilters might well be interested.
