Noelle made a beautiful silk bag for her daughter Gretl to carry at her wedding in the England recently. A gift from family and home all the more appreciated because the bride’s family were not able to be at the wedding because of the pandemic. The silk fabric is from Noelle’s own wedding gown (that she also made), the loops for the draw cord at the top were on the sleeves. The exquisite hand embroidery is worked in silk thread. A lovely gift from a very talented mother, that will be a family heirloom. Gretl commented on our Instagram post about the bag ‘The most perfect gift for my wedding, made with love, skill and talent, I will cherish it always’. |
