We haven’t met for some weeks, and have more time to go in lockdown, with the expectation of restrictions when the lockdown is lifted. These photos are from our last get together.

Hilary found these vintage fabrics including stamped embroideries in a late relative’s collection after her death. She has made the quilt for her relative’s daughters in the USA, using an old quilt-as-you-go pattern from her own English mother. She has a second set of similar fabrics still to make up, featuring chickens. |
Elaine had already started this quilt when she learned
that a friend she’s known since childhood was ill. She
is planning to give it to her friend when she can travel
to Victoria to deliver it in person.
Julie is making a collection of quilts for future
great grandchildren. This one started with
hexagons left over from an earlier quilt.
