New finishes

Robyn is adept at many needlework techniques. She has
made a replacement wall hanging for one retired after twelve
years, incorporating many treasures from small pieces
(embroidery, cross stitch and others) that have accumulated
over years and now have a home comfortably together.
And Robyn can enjoy them every day, not just when she
goes through her cupboards. Clever, and sure to inspire
others with collections unseen.

Nerida enjoyed her first ‘Crossroads’ quilt so much she’s
made another, and it’s another beautiful mix of
fabrics playing happily together.

Many, many very small scraps (that she describes as
‘all the rubbish’) make both the feature and background
 piecing of Susan Mac’s quilt. It’s all 1” x 2” pieces!

A large piece of a Japanese fabric, bought as an
end of bolt, is a perfect backing.
