The second workshop was on adding borders, and choosing fabric for borders. Holding it at Cottage Quiltworks in Warriewood was a great help! Several quilters have continued with monthly classes at Cottage Quiltworks, building up their borders under Margaret's guidance.
More quilts from the initial workshop are still in progress.
Helen Battellino finished her long term hexagon project, brought together in Margaret Sampson George style with a variety of borders using many prints and techniques. |

My Happy Place, made by Miriam Jones was the runner up Viewers' Choice at our 2016 Quilt Show. |
Georgie Patrickson chose Margaret's 'Jane Pizar' design as her centre medallion, and worked on borders for two more years. She is now more than half way through hand quilting. |
Sue Crowe added borders to her teacups medallion under Margaret's guidance, and is now hand quilting it. |
Elsa Kachwalla's first finished quilt, started in Margaret Sampson George's 2013 workshop, and finished in 2014 - not the easiest design to choose for your very first quilt! |
Phyl Willets's quilt started as the little pink block in the centre and grew from Margaret's borders workshop - Phyl says it now fully 'Margrified' |
