Noelle's fashion designer daughter lives and works in London. She recently went off to Liberty to buy her Mum a selection of the reproduction fabric specially commissioned by the V & A to coincide with its current exhbition exhibition, Quilts 1700 - 2010 (what a lovely daughter she is) - and there in the store was a display of old (and some decidedly quirky) quilts, hung from the timber balconies of the beautiful interior. This first picture is not a great one of the quilt, but look carefully and you will see the Liberty staff member cutting Noelle's fabric while Gretl checked out the quilts.

Thanks Noelle, and Gretl.
