Show and tell - in real life and on Instagram

No Monday meeting this week because of the public holiday, so not many photos, but we can 'borrow' from our members' Instagram posts as well ...

We have a parcel of 36 blue hexagons for Quilt NSW/Arterie
at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse ... there might be more later.
This has been a fun and easy project to participate in.

Janice's beautiful secret sewing is a secret no more -
'Pixelated Heart' is the wedding quilt she has been making for
her daughter and son-in-law, now gifted and much loved ...

... quilted with hearts by Yvette (Keepsake Quilts), echoing
the heart theme seen in the fabric prints and the overall design.

Jill has finished a second (smaller) quilt made from Chris Jurd's
'Pickled Fish' pattern - these ones are 'Pickled Sharks' in
NRL colours requested by her football enthusiast son.

Nerida is making great progress on her 'Pocketful of Posies'
quilt in vintage and reproduction fabrics ...

... the original quilt was made using apron pockets.
And at the same time, Nerida is hand quilting her very lovely
vintage embroidery and patchwork 'Sweet Sunday' quilt!
