Show and tell

Pat found this very elegant quilt top on sale (it had been a
class sample) at Oatley Cottage when we visited during the
PINK exhibition last year. It has now been expertly
quilted by Yvette (Keepsake Quilts) ...
... A few months ago she was delighted to find more of the
exact fabric range, designed by Janet Clare, at Folklore
Fabric in Penrith during our bus trip, and  bought some
for a border and the backing - great outcome!

Elaine has more embroidered embellishment
planned for the mythical creatures quilt that needs to
be ready for her son's 50th in a few weeks.
It looks pretty fabulous already.
Marianne has recently moved from Singapore, and
introduced herself with two stunning bright, modern
quilts. Her 'Aviatrix Medallion' is made with her
own hand-dyed fabrics ...

... and her improv pieced round robin was completed
was completed with other members of her quilting group
in Singapore. Marianne started it off with the four blocks
in the upper left of the centre panel.

Elsa's 'Shadow Box' has been beautifully quilted by Yvette.
Once she has the binding on, she can reveal which
of her children it is for!

Roslyn is working in series - this is the third of
her mini zip-top bags ...

... this one with an a vintage embroidery from Lifeline
as its centre panel. She had some of her mother's, but
said she just couldn't cut them up.
